Rosh Photography

Roshanthi Weerawardena, affectionately known as Rosh, is a highly esteemed photographer with a diverse and enriching background. She graduated from New South Wales (NSW) in Australia with a major in Microbiology and furthered her expertise as an Embryologist Technician through training at CREST (Center for Reproductive Education and Specialist Training, National Hospital of Singapore). Additionally, Rosh holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from NIBM and a Diploma in IT from RI.

Rosh commenced her professional journey as a Laboratory Technician in Australia and later as a Medical Laboratory Assistant in the UK. Upon her return to Sri Lanka, she contributed her skills as a Trainee Embryologist at Ninewells CARE Mother and Baby Hospital. She then transitioned to a corporate role, joining the leading multinational company Glaxo SmithKline Ltd. Sri Lanka as a Product Specialist.

Motherhood brought a transformative change in Rosh’s life, leading her to prioritize the well-being of her three daughters. Seeking a career that offered both flexibility and fulfillment, she turned her lifelong passion for photography into a profession. Specializing in baby, toddler, and kids photography, Rosh pioneered the genre of baby photography in Sri Lanka, quickly establishing her studio as one of the most sought-after in the country.

Rosh’s photography stands out for its ability to capture epic moments that tell compelling stories. Her images evoke deep connections, allowing viewers to engage with and relive the captured moments, creating lasting memories. Her expertise and unique approach have garnered widespread recognition and admiration.

Expanding her repertoire beyond children’s photography, Rosh now also covers a variety of special events, including corporate events, cocktail parties, teen-themed parties, anniversary celebrations, milestone birthdays, and bachelorette parties. Her versatility and dedication to her craft ensure that every event she photographs is immortalized in a beautiful and unforgettable way.
